Wallace was also missing from the show on Tuesday, November 21, however, Deadline posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that she would be back "with a very special announcement" sometime within the 5 pm hour.
Calling into the show for her appearance, Wallace revealed that she just welcomed a daughter named Isabella to her family.

Wallace said she was "smitten" with the new addition and confirmed she was able to keep the baby a secret as she was never pregnant.
"There are pros and cons to being a mom again at 51," she added. "But it's a blessing to be focused again on what has always grounded me and that is my beautiful family."
On December 4, 2023, Wallace surprised fans by posting an update on X: "I will be back tomorrow for an important conversation—one day only! (Then back to my family!) Hope to see you there!"
Her one-day return to MSNBC comes after two weeks of being off the air.
